Summit Bechtel Reserve - Boy Scout Jamboree
West Virginia's biggest and best festival. Enjoy a day of Base jumping from the New River Gorge Bridge into the river. Jump off of the 876' foot bridge from 9am-3pm. If you aren't up for the jump, there are also 100's of vendors on hand to shop and browse through.

New River Gorge National Park
There are many opportunities to experience nature at the New River Gorge National Park. Activities include whitewater rafting, fishing, hunting, sightseeing, photography, horseback riding, hiking and mountain biking among many others. Most activities are seasonal please call ahead before planning your trip.
Bridge Day- Every Third Saturday in October
Eagle's Nest Campground is conveniently located across 19 from the Summit Bechtel Reserve, home to the National Boy Scout Jamboree. Scouts from throughout the country can come to enjoy the 10,000+ acres. The next Jamboree will not occur until 2017, but Eagle's Nest Campground will have plenty of sites available then. Meanwhile, if you're in town to enjoy the BSA adventure park and need a place to stay Eagle's Nest will still have you covered!
Hatfield & McCoy Riding Trails
Eagle's Nest Campground is located approximately 45 minutes from Pinnacle Creek Tail system. Pinnacle Creek is one of the 7 trail systems of the Hatfield and McCoy trail riding systems. These trails are for recreational trail riding of ATV's dirtbikes and various other off-road vehicles. All together the trails offer over 600 miles of dirt for riding throughout West Virginia. Please call ahead for availability.
